ONLY SON OF SIR HENRY HUGH ARTHUR HOARE
OF STOURHEAD WAVENDON AND OXENHAM BART
AND OF ALDA HIS WIFE"
Geboren in Wavenden op 30 juli 1888, kreeg hij onderwijs aan Harrow en Trinity College Cambridge en trad in augustus 1914 toe tot de Dorset Yeomanry. Hij diende in de Gallipoli- en Palestina-campagnes, raakte op 15 november gewond bij Mughair Ridge en stierf aan zijn verwondingen op 19 december 1917 in het Raseltin-ziekenhuis in Alexandrië, waar hij rust op de Hadra New Military Cemetery.
Deze tablet is opgericht door zijn vader en moeder ter nagedachtenis aan de beste zonen.
