Oorlogsmonument Christ Church Redcar

Een koorscherm en erelijst voor de doden in de Eerste Wereldoorlog.

To the glory of God and in grateful memory of the following who gave their lives in the Great War 1914-1919 - The rood in this church was erected A.D. 1920. (names) Grant them, O Lord eternal rest.

Een andere plaquette vermeldt dat twee wijzerplaten van de kerkklok werden gegeven ter nagedachtenis aan Hugh de Chastelai Casley. Hij werd gedood in Suvla Bay, Gallipoli, tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog.

The south and west dials of this church clock have been given by Mr. and Mrs. Casley, in memory of their only son Lieut. Hugh de Chastelai Casley, 6th. Batt. A.P.W.O. Yorks Regt. who was killed in action at Suvla Bay, Gallipoli. 7th. August 1915, aged 28 years. "Pro pege et patria pugnans."
