"C" Squadron to WAVREILLE in support of 13th Para Battalion. "B" Squadron and H Company, 8th RB to hill, 2269. R.HQ at RESTEIGNE, 1668. 5 x Other Ranks killed in action and 1 x wounded.
6   Remain in positions in support of 6th Airlanding Brigade.
7   "C" Squadron and "B" Squadron relieve one another.

9   "B" Squadron support 1st R.U.R forward to FORRIERES, 2474. "A" Squadron and "C" Squadron remain in positions.

21   Celebrate Christmas.
22-31   Re-equipping and training.
23   1 x Sherman V received. 4 x Sherman 1Cs and 10 x Sherman Vs disposed of.

31   5 x Comets 1A and 1 x lorry, 3-ton received. 1 x Workshop wagon, Krupp, abandoned. 1 x 3-ton lorry backloaded.
